Identification of the most frequent
types of conflicts in the Roma community and between the Roma and the others
communities or institutions through a survey with interviews with representatives
of the Roma community, other communities and institutions, which are in
contact- 120 respondents by 3 local interviewers in the 3 municipalities-
Vratza, Biala Slatina and Roman

Identification of the conflict
potential of the Roma community through analysis of the data, gathered
from the survey and elaboration of an expert’s report. Elaboration of a
model for decreasing the conflict potential of the Roma communities and
identification of the needs for training in partnership in conflict resolution
and establishment of attitudes and norms of non-violence

Organization of 3 /three/ 2-day
training seminars on Partnership in conflict resolution in Vratza, Roman
and Biala Slatina – for 30 participants in each, incl. information materials,
rent of a hall and equipment, coffee-breaks and fees for 5 experts/trainers
for 3 seminars

Establishment of Consultative
Forums for partnership in conflict resolution, including representatives
of the local ethnic groups at the end of each seminar

Assistance in the formation
and the work of the Consultative Forums and rendering of methodological
help
during 2 months period/ visits of experts on CR, organization of in service
training for different representatives of institutions in the 3 municipalities,
study and consultation in conflict resolution of different cases/

Elaboration and publishing of
a handbook for partnership in CR for representatives of the Roma community
/ The handbook will contain the description of concrete procedure, which
must be applied in CR and being mediators in the cases/- 100 copies., A4
format,40 pages. Mailing of the handbook to representatives of Roma communities
in the country.

Translation of the handbook
in Macedonian and Romanian languages and mailing it to twinning municipalities
with similar problems to FYR Macedonia and Romania / publishing and dissemination
of 200 copies in each language /

Elaboration of a web site of
the project, in which the full text of the handbook in the 3 languages
. Publication of information for the conflict potential of the Roma communities
in Bulgarian and English language in order to be established relations
with future sponsors and partners.

Preparation of final report
of the project. Dissemination of the results of the project in the mass
media.
